End Of The World

In a world driven by self-interest and fleeting desires, we often build our lives on what we believe is right for us. But our own sense of direction can be the very thing that leads us astray.

Our Choice of Sinfulness

Our Choice of Sinfulness

In a world driven by self-interest and fleeting desires, we often build our lives on what we believe is right for us. But our own sense of direction can be the very thing that leads us astray.

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” (Proverbs 14:12)

This verse is a stark reminder that the path we choose, one based on our own desires, often leads to destruction. Our choices, however justified they may feel, can lead us away from God and toward a final judgment.

When Jesus Returns with Fire and Brimstone

The world is nearly falling apart. I feel it in the very core of my being. There’s pain, sorrow, and destruction everywhere we look. People are suffering, some visibly, some hidden behind the walls of their hearts and minds. In Revelation 19:11-16, we see a description of Jesus’ return. It’s not going to be a quiet, peaceful moment; this is the return of the righteous judge, not the humble shepherd.

11 I saw heaven standing open, and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice, he judges and wages war.

A Life Torn by Invisible Battles
A Life Torn by Invisible Battles

A Life Torn by Invisible Battles

It’s like fighting an invisible war when you have bipolar disorder. One moment I’m on top of the world, feeling invincible and full of hope, and the next I’m in the dark and feeling hopeless. A lot of people don’t get this emotional rollercoaster. I’ve felt alone as people leave, not because they want to, but because they don’t know how to help me in this invisible battle.

Matthew 11:28, Jesus offers a comforting invitation:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

The Final Judgment- Wicked vs. Saved

The thought of judgment can be unsettling. But it’s also necessary. Revelation 20:14 warns of the lake of fire, a place of torment for those who are unfaithful to Christ. I have read it countless times. It serves as a sobering reminder every time. We cannot avoid judgment, and it will definitely come. However, there’s another side to this. For those who accept Jesus, there is an inheritance.

Matthew 25:34 tells us:

“Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.”

Urgent Call to Salvation and Repentance

Urgent Call to Salvation and Repentance

The call to salvation is urgent. In a world filled with suffering, the need for repentance and faith has never been clearer. We don’t know the time when Jesus will return, but we know that we must respond now.

[1 John 1:9 tells us] “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

When I first turned to Jesus, I was just a boy with abuse and trauma. But in His arms, I found forgiveness. Salvation isn’t about being perfect; it’s about accepting His grace.

Life After Death: What Truly Matters

There are moments when we think about our life after death. What will truly matter when we leave this world? Matthew 6:19-21 reminds us:

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven…”

Wealth and status fade, but what we invest in heaven lasts forever. What truly matters is love, kindness, and helping others, especially those battling mental health. Jesus calls us to be His hands and feet.

New Heaven & New Earth Hope Beyond Judgment

New Heaven & New Earth Hope Beyond Judgment

I long for the new heaven and new earth that Jesus promises. Revelation 21:1-4 gives us a glimpse:

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.’”
